🐾 Applying for a Puppy from Indigo Kennels

We’re so glad you’re interested in welcoming a Toy or Miniature Poodle from Indigo Kennels into your life!

Before applying, please carefully read the information below to ensure we’re a good fit and that you understand our application and waitlist process.

📝 Waitlist Preferences & Placement

While we generally follow our waitlist in the order applications are received, we do give priority placement to the following types of homes:

• Sport or performance homes

• Established, ethical breeders

• Past Indigo puppy owners or friends/family of past owners

• Local homes in Las Vegas, NV

• Qualified guardian homes for one of our breeding dogs

Our top priority is matching each puppy to the home that best suits their temperament, personality, and needs. We take placement very seriously and always strive to ensure the right fit—for both the puppy and the family.

Before submitting your application, please read our Poodle FAQ. It includes important information about:

• Our breeding philosophy and ethics

• How we raise and socialize our puppies

• What you can expect throughout the process

If your question isn’t answered in the FAQ, there’s a section at the bottom of the application form where you can ask.

💵 Application Administration Fee

We require a $50 non-refundable administration fee with each application. This fee helps cover the significant time we spend:

• Answering emails

• Speaking with potential families

• Managing our waitlist

• Following up with applicants who don’t respond

This fee is non-refundable and must be submitted only after your application has been reviewed and approved.

Once your application is approved, we will send you instructions for sending the fee (via e-transfer to info@indigokennels.com unless you're local).

Please do not send payment before receiving approval.

✅ After You Apply

• You will hear from us within 48 hours confirming whether your application has been approved.

• If you do not receive a response, your application likely did not come through—please feel free to follow up via email.

• Once approved, your place on our waitlist will be held only after your fee has been received.

If you’re having issues with the online form, you may also email us and manually submit your responses by copying and pasting the questions into the body of your message.

📧 Waitlist Communication Policy

We communicate primarily by email for all waitlist offers and updates.

• Please check your spam/junk folders regularly.

• If we offer you a spot on the waitlist and don’t hear back within 24 hours, we will move on to the next applicant—however, you’ll retain your place for future litters if you’re still interested.

• We may contact you by phone or text only if previously arranged or if we’re unable to reach you by email.
